Boys and Girls Club of Western Nevada
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada positively impacts youth from the moment they enter the door. Youth are provided a safe, structured, and positive environment where they can build relationships with caring adults, participate in fun and engaging programs, learn important skills, make new friends, and develop their talents.
Our doors are open to over 2,200 youth in the Carson City and Carson Valley area before and after school, during school breaks, and through summer vacation. We’ve designed our programs to help youth create aspirations for the future, become the best versions of themselves, and engage in positive behaviors.
Family Support Council of Douglas County
Family Support Council has been serving residents in and around Douglas County for forty years! We provide a wide variety of confidential and free supports, resources, referrals, and educational services. We advocate for victims of violence as well as provide shelter for adult and child victims. We provide services to individuals with developmental disabilities, mental illnesses, or traumatic brain injuries. Emergency family resources are always free of charge.
